We can’t run away from the fact that today, COVID-19 is the biggest threat to humans. However, together can defeat this menace.

People panic when they observe similar symptoms like COVID-19 and prefer home remedies for the same. But is this safe? Should we visit a doctor? If yes, then will it be safe to visit a crowded clinic or a hospital? What if I get infected with Corona Virus?

We all fall into the same questions and avoid seeing a doctor, right?

Well, apart from COVID-19, there are many other reasons where people want to see a doctor. Reasons like normal cold, to major check-ups of heart, diabetes, etc, etc. But is it safe to visit a doctor in this situation? What can be the solution?

This article is specially written as a thought of providing a solution for doctors and patients to avoid panic and follow the right precautions and treatment.

This article will cover a few points on how we can stay alert, and continue visiting our doctors for other health-related issues and its treatment

First, let’s check some points on how we can stay safe from COVID-19:

1) Be at HOME: Being at home will help us minimize the chance of getting infected. Try online shopping to avoid going to the nearest shops for groceries, etc.

2) Mask: If by any chance we have to step out of our houses for buying milk, vegetables, etc, we must always wear a mask to cover our face. If not a mask then we can use a clean handkerchief or a napkin.

3) Social Distancing: Avoid visiting crowded places, maintain at least 3-4 ft. of distance from people at a shop or anywhere outside your house.

4) Sanitize: Be well sanitized with any hand sanitizer.

5) Avoid the Touch: Do not touch anything that comes in your way once you step out of your house. In case if you have to, then sanitize your hands before and after you touch. Avoid touching your face (mouth, eyes, nose, ears, forehead).

6)The Symptoms: The common symptoms of COVID-19 seen in infected people are dry coughing, running nose, and difficulty in breathing. COVID-19 doesn’t show any symptoms until 5-7 days. Hence, follow all the rules even if symptoms don’t show.

7) The Treatment: Keep having warm/hot water after every 20 mins, wash your hands well for at least 20 seconds with any soap after every 20-30 mins, be at home, visit the nearest hospital in case you feel the symptoms. DO NOT HIDE YOUR SYMPTOMS!

These are some basic steps you can follow to avoid the disease.

Now let’s check what our doctors can do to help and avoid panic in people.

Many people have shared their opinion on how to beat COVID-19. We see daily posts on homemade remedies on social media. However, all of those are not scientifically proven. Hence, we must avoid these remedies and follow our doctor’s instructions.

For doctors, it is very important to educate your patients to help them increase their immune system. Doctors should know their patient’s history and for that, they can use apps like DoctoPlus™ which helps the doctors to maintain their patient’s reports and history. With such apps, the doctors can also notify their patients with daily updates with the right information to avoid being infected and help the people come out of panic.

Apps like DoctoPlus™ can help doctors and patients in many ways. The best part is that the patients can book their appointments and can visit the clinic at the prompted time by the app. This can help the patients avoid the crowd at the clinic.

There are many apps like DoctoPlus™ present on Google Play Store which can be easily downloaded by doctors and patients.

By making the best use of technology, together we can beat Corona Virus!

We, the team of DoctoPlus™, urge you all to follow the rules set by our government and support our Nation to win this battle against COVID-19!
